Nestled in the scenic coastal town of Port Dickson, Port Lanun is a seafood haven that truly embraces the rich flavors and vibrant spirit of Malaysian cuisine. Located at Lot 1641, Batu 8, Jalan Pantai, Taman Baru Kemang, this inviting seafood restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving fresh, expertly grilled seafood with a local twist.
At Port Lanun, the menu is a celebration of the sea's bounty, featuring standout dishes such as the Medan Ikan Bakar, where the Siakap is served with a tangy sweet and sour sauce that perfectly balances the natural sweetness of the fish. For those who enjoy a spicier palette, the Terubok Bakar Sambal delivers a smoky, fiery kick that excites the taste buds without overwhelming them. Not to be missed are the captivating shellouts—offered in either rich buttermilk or vibrant sambal styles—boasting fresh, juicy seafood drenched in bold, mouthwatering sauces. The Udang Butter, where succulent prawns are enveloped in a creamy, buttery glaze, adds a luscious texture that rounds out the flavors beautifully.
The atmosphere at Port Lanun echoes the laid-back charm of Port Dickson’s coastal life. While it operates in a food court-style setting, the friendly staff and inviting ambiance transform your meal into a relaxed yet satisfying culinary experience. Customers often mention the warm hospitality alongside the authentically local flavors, though parking can be a bit challenging due to limited spaces, prompting some guests to park roadside.
While the variety of drinks is limited to mostly local soft beverages, the focus here is firmly on delivering effortless and genuine seafood dishes that speak volumes through their taste. The combination of fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and grilling mastery makes Port Lanun a delightful spot for seafood lovers looking to indulge in the coastal flavors of Negeri Sembilan.
Whether you’re after a casual dinner by the sea or a flavorful local feast with family and friends, Port Lanun captures the essence of Malaysian seafood dining. Just beside the Balai Bomba Telok Kemang, it’s perfectly positioned for a memorable meal during your Port Dickson adventure.
